Itinerary
Day 1 : Colombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by your chauffeur-guide and transferred to, a luxurious private villa in Colombo. Relax before visiting The Dutch Hospital, a historic building dating back to the Dutch colonial era, and Colombo's popular shopping and restaurant area.
Day 2/3 : Kandy
After a restful night in Colombo, travel by car to Kandy in the heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. Visit the UNESCO-listed Temple of the Tooth, explore the vibrant Kandy market, and enjoy a tour of the Botanical Gardens with a flora and fauna expert.
Day 4/5/6 : Gal Oya
From Kandy, head east to Gal Oya Lodge (approx. 5h). Indulge in wilderness experiences in Gal Oya National Park, including jeep safaris to see elephants, walks with local Vedda tribesmen, and the lodge's animal monitoring program. Enjoy delicious local cuisine in the evenings.
Day 7/8/9 : Ella
Travel to Ella, a scenic town in the Hill Country (approx. 3h). Stay at Nine Skies, a stunning colonial-era bungalow nestled in the tea plantations. Explore the area by wandering through tea plantations, visiting local waterfalls, and enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
Day 10/11 : Galle
Head south to Galle, one of Sri Lanka's most iconic coastal towns (approx. 4h). Stay at Fort Bazaar in the heart of Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the cobbled streets, dine at local restaurants, and take a private tour to learn about the town's history.
Day 12/13/14/15 : Hikkaduwa Beach
Continue to Hikkaduwa Beach on the south coast (approx. 1.5h). Spend your days relaxing on the beach, enjoying fresh seafood, and lounging by the azure infinity pool. Treat yourself to an indulgent spa treatment at the hotel.
